Macedonian girl I met in Ljubljana was beautiful! We spent amazing night talking and dancing on the streets. She has blonde hair but with dark eyebrows and those hypnotic eyes, as I said in the add trying to find her.

With these words German Patrick begins to tell the story about a girl from Macedonia he met in Slovenian capital, but as in the story of Cinderella, he lost her and he is now trying to find her through and add posted at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Telegraf.mk reports.

The love story which is still uncertain whether it will have happy ending, spread via social networks after his add was photographed and published by a Slovenian radio.

“Hello beautiful girl from Macedonia with the eyes I cannot forget! We met, and we talked, and we laughed, and we danced, near the stage at the Tromostovje, the Triple Bridge. Too quickly you had to leave – and I’m left thinking I can never meet you again. That would be so sad! My only way is to find you through the Faculty of Social Sciences and I hope you read this text. If you like, please send me a message- I would love to hear from you,” says the add Patrick posted trying to find the Macedonian girl.

Patrick's letter triggered an avalanche of comments on Facebook. Some offer him help to find the Macedonian girl, other post love song, amazed by the romantic step of the German. But, as Patrick says, he isn’t thrilled that his phone number and his data ended up on social networks.

“I wanted to leave the message at the news board at the University of Ljubljana, but it has spread so fast on the Internet ... I want to save my privacy,” explains PAtrick, who did not want to share too much personal information.

He says he has never been to Macedonia, but would like to visit.

“In fact, this trip was my first visit to the Balkans. A friend and I were on a round trip with a small private airplane actually. We chose to come to the Balkans because we both like the music a lot and we have never been there before. We flew to Belgrade for a few days and loved it, spent some time in Croatia and then flew to Ljubljana. This was really the last evening of our trip and we wanted to just have dinner and get some rest for our flight back home.” Patrick says.

He met the beautiful Macedonian on the last day of his trip at Tromostovje, the three bridges in the center of Ljubljana.

“There was a stage with some guys playing live music (some English, some local, some Macedonian songs, too and later, even some German songs!) and this is where my friend and I met three girls who were students at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana. One was from Bosnia, one was from Croatia, and one was from, well, Macedonia. We spent a very nice evening talking and dancing on the street. I really liked the girl from Macedonia a lot. She was of course beautiful… blonde hair but with dark eyebrows and those hypnotic eyes. Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we parted without exchanging contact details. I feel so stupid that I didn't ask,” Patrick admits.

When he returned home, he decided to try his luck.

“Back at home, I decided to try my luck and asked at the Faculty of Social Sciences if they could help me by putting up a message (the one you know) on their notice board. After all, it was the only chance I had. I didn't realize of course that somebody would take a photograph and post the search online - and how much attention this story would receive! Today was a crazy day, as I discovered how fast the story had spread online, in the media, in social networks etc. I'm quite flattered by the great support I saw from so many people - although I was also a little bit worried about my privacy, too, as my contact details including the phone number etc. were shared all across the internet. In fact, I received many phone calls from unknown numbers, SMS, messages, Facebook invitations and I'm sorry I didn't answer them all,”Patrick says for Telegraf.mk

Unfortunately, Patrick has not yet heard from the "real" girl he is looking for and he hope we’ll help him find her.
